Just how sexy will Courtney Cox get on Dirt? Apparently sexy enough that most actresses would be using body doubles… and there are sex scenes above and beyond her much talked about lesbian liplock with galpal Jennifer Aniston.

Courtney Cox says she’ll be doing her own on-screen sex scenes for her series Dirt and won’t rely on a body double.

The former Friends star plays tabloid magazine editor, Lucy Spiller, in the show and says the racy scenes have given her more confidence.

‘I’m not a little girl anymore. I’m a woman.’

‘I was really nervous at first about exposing myself. It was like, ‘You know what? I’m not going to get a body double. I’m going to be who I am.’

‘That was a big change!’ Cox was reported saying.

So just how far will she be exposing herself on Dirt? I don’t know about you, but picturing Monica in sex scenes is just more than a little weird!

Looks like Courtney Cox was listening. It has now been confirmed that her BFF Jennifer Aniston will make an appearance on her so-so series, Dirt.

Jennifer Aniston will appear in her first television appearance since the Friends season finale by appearing in Dirt’s season finale in March. The finale will air Tuesday, March 27 on FX. She will play Tina Harrod, the editor of Lucy’s biggest rival tabloid.

Jen and Courtney haven’t worked together since that Friends appearance, despite both being involved in multiple projects. Good for Jen supporting her best friend and her struggling show.

You know, if my BFF was another high profiler like Jennifer Aniston, if she asked to come on my not-doing-so-well-in-the-ratings show, my response would be “hell ya!” But apparently Courtney Cox isn’t as enthused about her friend making a guest appearance on her show Dirt, otherwise she’d have made a part for her already!

Courteney Cox says her Hollywood pals are big fans of her celebrity-dishing FX drama, Dirt (“All my friends in this business think it’s fantastic and love it and are addicted,” she boasts). And her most famous friend, Jennifer Aniston, wants Courteney to give her a part on the show! But there might not be a part for Jen. “[My friends] just want us to keep going, the meaner the better. And Jennifer loves the show!” Courteney reveals. “She’s already going, ‘What am I going to do [on the show]?’ I’m like, ‘I don’t know if we can put you on, Jen. No.’ ”

I can see why 24 turned down Jennifer Aniston’s request for a guest spot on that show. But Dirt doesn’t quite have that status yet! I suppose Courtney wants to “prove” she can make it without a fellow Friends help, but I bet it would be a ratings success and could ultimately draw more viewers in who will watch long after Jen’s left the show.

Courtney Cox is back with a brand new series - on F/X - where she stars as an editor in charge of two trashy celeb gossip tabloids, “Dirt” (what a great title!) and “Now”. She alienates celebs and employees a like with her ruthless do-whatever-it-takes attitude when it comes to being the first to break a story.

Courtney Cox (who curiously decided to not use her married name, Courtney Cox-Arquette, which she did use on Friends) stars as Lucy Spiller, but also has a cast of co-stars including Ian Hart as her photographer, Laura Allen who plays an actress and Josh Stewart (from Third Watch) as Lucy’s boytoy boyfriend.

The series is definitely getting a lot of buzz, and since the show is on The F/X, you are going to see a lot of the underbelly of the industry you wouldn’t have seen on one of the big networks.

The show premieres on Tuesday, January 2nd.
